Do you think in the future you’ll have a plug-in for Capture One that works without exporting tiff files?
Unfortunately, it’s not possible technically.
Will Dehancer be compatible with new softwares in the future?
At the moment Dehancer is compatible with DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop, Capture One and Affinity Photo (in beta mode). Besides, we have an iOS app compatible with iPhone and iPad.
In the future we may add more softwares. However, we can give any exact dates.
Will you make automatic or manual firmware download directly in the plug-in?
Unfortunately, it’s technically impossible at the moment.
Any plans to do film burns in the film version?
We have a plan to make light leaks and film burns available in an overscan tool in the future.
Will AdobeRGB be added?
At the moment we don't have a definite timeline for the introduction of additional colour spaces.
In the meantime you can organize the processing in the following way:
- At the processing stage, temporarily switch your host application and screen profile to the sRGB working space.
- After processing, convert the output file to AdobeRGB space.
We understand that it creates some inconvenience, but you can for instance dedicate one editorial workstation purposefully to using Dehancer. There are also automation tools that allow you to convert files on the fly to the correct space automatically when they get into the monitored folder.
Will you add new camera profile?
We are constantly working on adding more camera profiles to Dehancer, so there's a big chance we will add this profile at some point too. However at the moment we cannot give you any exact dates.
