macOS
Hardware requirements
- Apple Macintosh, starting from middle 2012
- Metal-enabled GPU
- Optimised for Apple Silicon. The appropriate distributive is installed automatically.
- External and multi-GPU are supported on Intel macs
Intel Iris and Intel HD Graphics GPUs may produce unexpected plugin crashes, visual glitches and artefacts. This is a system bug, the only solution is using an external GPU where possible.
Software compatibility
- macOS Big Sur 11 and later
- DaVinci Resolve 17 and later
- We do not officially support ‘hackintosh,' virtual machines and other homebrew systems, while it could worth a try. Also, operation with hacked or modified host applications and OS is not guaranteed.
Fusion compatibility issues
Although DaVinci Resolve allows the use of OFX plugins in Fusion nodes, this feature has specific issues and limitations. You may encounter problems with saving settings between sessions, resetting the plugin to default values and others. The problem probably lies beyond Dehancer's responsibility.
We do not recommend using Dehancer plugin with Fusion.
Windows 10/11
Hardware requirements
- PC with Nvidia or AMD GPU
- CUDA or OpenCL compatible GPU
- External and multi-GPU are supported Known issues
- Nvidia GPUs may produce plugin crashes with particular driver versions (mostly with 461, 516 and 522).
Solution: Install the compatible driver version.
- AMD GPU drivers newer than 23.4.1 may produce memory leaks with DaVinci versions earlier than 18.5. Solution: Install driver version 23.4.1 and earlier or use the DaVinci Resolve 18.6 and later.
Software compatibility
- Windows 10 (64 bit), Windows 11 (64 bit), Genuine licensed installation is required
- DaVinci Resolve 17 and later
- Operation with hacked or modified host applications and OS is not guaranteed
Estimated GPU memory consumption:
- FullHD – 4GB minimum / 8GB recommended
- 4K – 8GB / 12GB
- 6K – 12GB / 16GB
- 8K – 16GB / 24GB
