About
Fujifilm introduced FP-100c instant film in 1984 for the Japanese domestic market. Initially designed for Fuji Instant Camera FP-12 and FP-14, commonly used for ID photography, the film later expanded to include a 4x5” format compatible with large-format cameras.
Fujifilm FP-100c was fully compatible with Polaroid Type 100 cameras, a format first introduced by Polaroid in 1963. Under an agreement between Fuji and Polaroid, Fujifilm was permitted to develop and distribute this film format within Japan.
After Polaroid discontinued its Type 100 instant film in 2008, Fujifilm FP-100c became the only available alternative for users of these cameras. Despite its eventual discontinuation in 2016, FP-100c remains highly regarded for its vibrant colors, sharp details, and signature glossy finish.
