About
The exact origin of this film is unknown, it is believed to be a heavily expired colour slide repackaged by Adox and marketed as a negative with C-41 process. The film was manufactured and sold from 2012 to 2017.
Adox Color Implosion is characterised by strong colour deviations and huge grain, which give the image a distinctly retro style. When underexposed, the film tends towards cool blues, when overexposed it shows yellow-green tints, and with normal exposure it appears red-violet.
The most expressive colour solutions can be obtained when working with this film in a hybrid process (analogue + digital). First, the film is developed and scanned, then the scans are digitally processed. This approach allows you to freely adjust the colour correction parameters within a wide range, when simulating the film using the corresponding profile in Dehancer.
