Dehancer is a complex software with sophisticated algorithms. We are constantly improving the performance, however, high-quality film simulation still requires top hardware to run smooth in realtime.

Dehancer OFX plugin for Windows Hardware requirements:

– PC with Nvidia GPU or AMD GPU
– CUDA only for Nvidia’s GPU
– OpenCL only for AMD’s GPU
– External and multi-GPU are supported (CUDA/OpenCL)

GPU memory consumption:

FullHD video – 4GB minimum / 8GB recommended
4K video – 8GB / 12GB
6K video – 12GB / 16GB
8K video – 16GB / 24GB

Software compatibility:

– Windows 10 64 bit
– DaVinci Resolve 17 and above

Dehancer Licensing issues:

Please check if your Windows is genuine. Dehancer Licensing System may interfere with software cracks residing in your system and won’t work with hacked Windows installation.

Dehancer FCP System requirements

Hardware requirements:

  • Apple Mac, Mid 2012 or newer with Metal-enabled GPU
  • Compatible with Apple Silicon (using Rosetta)

Software compatibility:

  • macOS: 10.15 (Catalina) or higher
  • Apple Motion: 5.5.3 or higher
  • Final Cut Pro: 10.5.4 or higher

First start

  1. Open your Project
  2. Open the Effects tab, find the ‘Film emulation’ folder and drag and drop the Dehancer Pro icon to your Clip.
  3. Download Film and Camera profiles. Scroll down to the bottom of the plugin interface and press the [Update Profiles] button.

Plugin Activation (removing the watermark)

  1. You will receive a letter with License Keys.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the plugin interface and press the [License Info] button.
  3. Select the ‘Enter License Key’ tab (Activation via Login doesn’t work with Beta Licenses).
  4. Paste your e-mail and Activation Key in the corresponding fields and press [Activate].
  5. Restart FCP.

If Activation did not remove the watermark

  1. In the Final Cut Pro menu select: File -> Delete Generated Clip Files…
  2. Check all options, including Optimized media, Proxy and Render files.
  3. Restart FCP.
